Dr. David Ellis specializes in plastic, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, head and neck. Along with running his Toronto-based private practice—Art of Facial Surgery clinic—he is a Professor at the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Toronto. He also teaches facial plastic surgery at the University Health Network at Toronto General Hospital.
Dr. Ellis is a Peer Assessor of the Quality Assurance Committee with The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and was on the board of The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, where he was nominated as president. He is also a past president of the Canadian Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, previous Canadian vice-president of The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and a past president and secretary of The Canadian Society of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery.
Dr. Ellis received a Distinguished Alumnus Award from the University of Toronto, Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery for professional and ethical standards of the highest order.
